It is an essential part of every day life to drink plenty of water. With sales doubled in the past six years
of water filter jugs there is a big demand for new innovative products. The market for water filter systems was
£16.7 million in 2000 with Brita being the dominant players with over 70% of the market.
You are to design a new water filter system with innovative features and commitment to the retailer. The product
is to use existing water filter cartridges and try to have a retail price of around £25. Make the water filter
unique and more interesting than the competition on the market currently. The end product should be aimed for
mass market appeal, to be sold in department stores.
